Have you wondered what is mindfulness, where did it originate and how to practice it? This 8 week course will answer these questions and more. You will learn the history of mindfulness, its contemporary forms and practice the 8 fold path.
Illuminate the darkness with a dynamic ritual of Kundalini Yoga, a bootcamp for the soul. Fire up your intentions with mantras, mudras, meditation and crystals that will ignite the creative force within. New moons are a powerful time to reset your brainwaves and jumpstart your dreams.
These special boob/bottle/diaper/crying-friendly yoga classes will be offered to moms of all fitness levels – with or without yoga experience – and their babies until they are crawling. Gradually regain your mobility and independence following the drastic changes that occur during pregnancy and birth! We’ll focus on retraining muscles, reducing stress levels, embracing and rehabilitating our mummy tummies and bonding with our babes. Plus, getting out of the house and talking to other mamas! #ittakesavillage
WHAT TO BRING
Your lovely self and lovely babe, both in comfy clothes; a water bottle; your yoga mat (or rent one for $2), a swaddle or blanket for baby to lie on. Optional: Anything you regularly bring with you for your babe (diapers, toys, snacks, carrier, etc.); a towel; anything else you need to make your practice comfortable.

Come work with a partner in therapeutic, strengthening and acrobatic combinations. Vanessa places great emphasis on communication and interaction between partners. The workshop is open to all levels. We will explore variations, so that each students can challenge themselves at their own level. Bring a partner or simply bring yourself.

On this special Libra Full Moon Magic day we will gather to cleanse and renew for a yoga ritual with Kimiko Fujimoto and live music with Eliza Moore. Join us in a sacred ceremony of yoga flow, kundalini yoga meditations, chanting, dance, and deep breathwork to transition into the tides of Spring. Experience a beautiful yoga class filled with motivational inspiration and soulful live music.

Join Kim and MJ in a challenging, but fun yoga wheel practice. Your stability and strength will be put to the test! The wheel will allow you to achieve new depths in your practice.
Every last Tuesday of the month, we are getting FUNKED up! Bernie is inviting you to finish your month with movement, funky beats and sweat! Groove in this special Power Yoga Funky Beats class and feel the Bern!
Every year, all Modo Yoga studios come together through Grow Your Yoga to bring awareness for a global cause committed to environmental consciousness. For our 30-day challenge we are supporting Junglekeepers, a Peruvian NGO whose mission is to protect the land along the Las Piedras region in the Peruvian Amazon and work with the local community through initiatives like our ranger programme. Through the help of the Modo Yoga community, Junglekeepers is actively protecting close to 2,000 hectares of land from illegal mining, logging and poaching. This year, through the Grow Your Yoga campaign, our aim is to help Junglekeepers protect an additional 2,597.24 hectares of land and grow the ranger programme. Together we will make a difference!
All proceeds from our Karma classes of March and April will go to Junglekeepers.
In this hip-opening workshop, MJ will teach you how to ease back pain, become more agile, and clear out negative emotions using props (block, strap, chair, etc.).
Our teacher training is for anyone who is looking to deepen and expand their yoga practice, live and learn in community, have tons of fun and become a 500 hour certified yoga teacher.

Inspired by our Be Accessible Pillar, our Energy Exchange program gives students the opportunity to deepen their yoga practice, regardless of their financial situation.
Energy Exchangers (EE’s) are an integral part of our studio family – their passion and dedication is what makes our community so special. In exchange for working one 3.5 hour shift per week cleaning the studio, EE’s will receive unlimited yoga and lots of other perks!
